Adam has a history of showing his natural ability to lead teams of people to achieve common goals.
A couple of video examples are linked below on this page.
Currently, Adam works with a large group of people that have become more safety conscious because of his initiatives and dedication. Motivated by injuries and deaths that should never have occurred, including that of Ashley Richards (click on audio link in the top left for a powerful message from her fiance), Adam developed and implemented an entirely new training program for flag people; one of the most dangerous jobs on a construction site. The flag person is relied on to protect the construction crews, the motoring public, and themselves. The results of
the new training program have led to the entire team receiving kudos from leaders within the Saskatchewan construction industry as well as count-parts in BC, Alberta, Manitoba and the Northwest Territory.
This is the type of person you have representing our community on the board. A person that is willing to take initiative, educate himself on how things could operate differently, devise a plan, and implement the program.
He is not just another name on a website; you have probably seen him actively seeking information and gathering feedback throughout the entire community.
I care about children receiving the best education possible and for that reason, I ran to be the Public School Board Trustee for Subdivision 3. It was a tough race with six qualified and well educated citizens running for the position. On October 26, 2016, I was happy to be elected with 41% of the vote. As a Trustee, I will represent your voice at the table. I will focus on continuing the successful programs that are currently in place in our school division and I will seek areas in which improvements can be made. I will work to have the Regina School Division operating at its highest capacity to best educate our students.
I am concerned for the long-term well-being of our school division. I am in this to sit on the board and work with six other trustees to resolve issues, make decisions and create improvements where necessary.
I believe in full transparency and effective communication. I will focus on communicating why decisions are made and explain how other aspects of education are effected by such decisions. I will be available and open for discussions, meetings, and receiving feedback from the citizens.
I have had extensive training in management and working positively in a group environment. I know how to be an effective member of a team and the importance of being able to show measurable results. I graduated with distinction obtaining a bachelor of business administration in management as well as a certificate in economics from the University of Regina. I continued my education by taking many training courses that would enhance my knowledge as a leader. Most recently, I have obtained my Certified Professional Management (CPA, CMA) designation and Project Management Professional (PMP) designation.
Now elected, I will be an active member of the board seeking feedback, conducting research, devising plans and putting them into action. To contact me, please send me a message at the bottom of the webpage and I will get back to you promptly. A lot of information and updates are also available on the our Facebook page.
We all benefit from an educated society.
